Docker hosts

Portainer credentials
One credential can serve many hosts: store it once, then Import endpoints creates one host per Portainer endpoint.
Coding agents
  • Sync tools installs what is missing
  • An installed agent is kept as it is while its definition is unchanged, so a new upstream release is only picked up by an upgrade. This rebuilds the tools image and reinstalls every enabled agent and runtime — minutes, and it re-downloads a few hundred MB.
These are the defaults every host inherits. A host can override any of them (Hosts → Edit → Overrides).
